About TyperA
TyperA was originally developed in 1999 on an Amiga 1200 running LinuxPPC and hosted on a Linux server. The TyperA.net domain was registered in 2002.

In September 2003 the site was transfered to my home server and rewritten to adapt the server-side code to fit a 160MHz/32mb Macintosh box. Perl CGI's were dropped in favor of a dynamic content development system written by myself (CWS) which uses FastCGI as backend. C++ is used as the server-side programming language. November 2004: using my old laptop as the server. Moved to TyperA.tk. Current status: the site is no longer actively developed. June 2007: The site was moved to a new server hosted by Nebula. | |
